The Head of Rewards serves as the strategic architect for the Bank's total rewards ecosystem, leading the design, governance, and execution of all compensation, benefits, and reward programs across the institution and its subsidiaries. This role exists to ensure the Bank's offerings remain competitive, cost-effective, and fully compliant with complex regulatory requirements while driving a high-performance culture. By partnering closely with executive leadership, the Compensation and Human Capital Committee of the Board, Finance, Risk, and HR Business Partners, the Head of Rewards plays a pivotal role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent.
In this position, you will navigate the intersection of financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and people operations. Your day involves steering the development of comprehensive total rewards strategies that align with the Bank's business objectives and market positioning. You will lead the design of base pay, incentive, and executive compensation programs, ensuring they support shareholder expectations and regulatory standards.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to high-stakes collaboration. You will prepare materials and present recommendations to the Compensation & Human Capital Committee, overseeing annual compensation cycles, market benchmarking, and pay-for-performance calibration. You will also manage the strategic oversight of health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and employee stock purchase programs, optimizing vendor relationships and cost structures to support employee wellbeing.
Beyond strategy, you will build a robust analytics capability to provide insights on pay equity, workforce cost trends, and program effectiveness. As a leader, you will develop a high-performing Rewards team and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational design and talent strategies, ensuring consistency and transparency across the organization's job architecture and compensation frameworks.
