Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. We bring that vision to life through our values and culture, creating meaningful experiences for our team members that help them build and develop skills for a career.
As a Guest Advocate, you are an advocate of guest experience who welcomes, thanks, and exceeds guest service expectations. You will empower guests to make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up while ensuring exceptional quality.
No two days are ever the same in this role. You will blend problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns. A typical day involves greeting guests, engaging with them to solve specific needs, and making them aware of current promos, store activities, and events. You will be the knowledgeable face of Target's digital and in-store services, teaching guests how to use the Target App, Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive-Up features. You will also promote Target Loyalty programs, assisting with applications and sign-ups to drive adoption and loyalty.
Beyond guest interaction, you will demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience, maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area. You will work efficiently to minimize wait times while scanning and bagging items in compliance with food safety standards. This role requires a culture of ethical conduct and safety, where you work in a safe manner, report hazards, and support guest services like Drive-Up returns while adhering to federal, state, and local laws.
Applications for this role are accepted on an ongoing basis, and there is no application deadline. We offer amazing training to teach you everything you need to know to be a Guest Advocate, so you can start building your skills immediately.
Target is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background. In compliance with state and federal laws, Target will make reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities. If a reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process, please reach out to candidate.accommodations@HRHelp.Target.com.
