As a Guest Advocate, you are an advocate of the guest experience, welcoming and thanking guests while exceeding service expectations. No two days are ever the same, but your role is central to making shopping quick and easy for guests at check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.
You will blend problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns. A typical day involves creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, engaging with them to solve specific needs, and promoting current promotions, store activities, and events. You will be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to improve the guest experience, including demonstrating how to use the Target App, Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive-Up features.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy interacting with others and thrive in a fast-moving, highly active environment where teamwork and creative problem-solving are key. You will work both independently and with a team to maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and ensure compliance with safety and ethical conduct standards.
