About the Role
As a Guest Advocate, you are an advocate of the guest experience, welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations by focusing on interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. No two days are ever the same in this fast-moving, highly active role, but you will be empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up.
You will blend problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns. A typical day involves creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, engaging with them to solve specific needs, and making them aware of current promotions, store activities, and events. You will serve as a knowledgeable partner on in-store and digital services, helping guests navigate the Target App, Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive-Up features to drive adoption and loyalty.
This role thrives on teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving. You will work in a safe manner, maintain a clean and clutter-free work area, and demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct while supporting various guest services. Whether you are scanning items efficiently, managing returns, or educating guests on benefits, your goal is to ensure an exceptional quality experience that makes guests happy they chose to shop at Target.
