About the Role
As a Guest Advocate, you are an advocate of guest experience who welcomes, thanks, and exceeds guest service expectations. You will focus on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.
No two days are ever the same in this role. You will be empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up locations. A typical day involves blending problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns. You will engage with guests to help solve their specific needs, promote current promos and store activities, and ensure guests are aware of the benefits of Target Loyalty programs.
You will also serve as a knowledgeable guide for both in-store and digital services. This includes helping guests understand and use features within the Target App, such as Wallet, and directing them on how to enroll in and use Order Pick-Up and Drive-Up services. Your role requires maintaining a clean, clutter-free work area and demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct and safety compliance while supporting guest services like Drive-Up returns and adult beverage laws.
