At Equitable, we are a team committed to helping our clients secure their financial well-being so that they can pursue long and fulfilling lives. Since 1859, we have turned challenges into opportunities by thinking, working, and leading differently, where everyone is a leader. We encourage every employee to leverage their unique talents to become a force for good at Equitable and in their local communities.
We are continuously investing in our people by offering growth, internal mobility, comprehensive compensation and benefits to support overall well-being, flexibility, and a culture of collaboration and teamwork. We are looking for talented, dedicated, purposeful people who want to make an impact.
Equitable’s Request for Proposal (RFP) Team is searching for an RFP Writer to play an integral role in business development and client service efforts. In this position, you will prepare proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other due diligence requests for Equitable’s Group Retirement 403(b), 457(b), 401(a), and 401(k) products.
You will work closely with multiple internal and external subject matter experts, contributing to the new business development process through well-written and effective responses. Your day will involve collaborating with various departments throughout the firm—including legal, operations, customer service, product management, and marketing—to obtain answers, develop new language, and gather necessary information. You will be responsible for writing clear, concise, and accurate responses that speak to the intended audience, while editing final documents to reflect customized responses that maintain consistency and quality of key messages.
This position offers a flexible work schedule. It may be fully remote or hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY), a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection.
If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process, or to perform the essential job functions of this position, please contact Human Resources at (212) 314-2211 or email us at TalentAcquisition@equitable.com.
