About the Role
As a Pet Stylist, you will be the heart of our grooming salon, providing professional grooming services to our valued customers' pets. This role is about more than just a haircut; it is about ensuring each pet receives exceptional care, leaving them looking and feeling their best while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and well-being.
In this position, you will showcase your expertise, creativity, and passion for animals in a dynamic environment. You will interact professionally with pet parents, offering optimal customer service, addressing inquiries, and providing custom recommendations on grooming maintenance and at-home care. You will also have the opportunity to grow your career through development paths such as Grooming Salon Leader, Grooming Mentor, and Grooming Instructor.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must successfully complete the Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco, or possess previous experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program. We look for individuals with a genuine passion for animals, expert knowledge of various dog breeds, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care.
