About the Role
As a Grocery Clerk, you will create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. You will establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Your role involves assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals while monitoring all established quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleInform customers of food specials and ensure they receive desired items
- check_circleLabel, stock, and inventory department merchandise
- check_circleReport product ordering and shipping discrepancies to the department manager
- check_circleAdhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- check_circleIdentify unsafe conditions and notify store management to reinforce safety programs
- check_circleInspect equipment for preventive maintenance and report items needing repair
- check_circleMaintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs
- check_circleCreate a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products
- check_circleAssist customers in discovering new items and recommend grocery products
- check_circleCheck product quality, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action
Requirements
