The Senior Grant Writer is a key member of CAMBA’s Office of Development & Communications, which is dedicated to informing funders, stakeholders, and community members about CAMBA’s vital work to further the organization’s development and growth. Reporting to the Senior Director of Institutional Giving, this role is responsible for developing and achieving CAMBA’s government, philanthropic, and individual fundraising goals.
In this position, you will manage a robust portfolio of public and private grants, overseeing the writing, preparation, and submission of proposals, letters of intent, reports, and other critical written materials. You will identify and research funding sources, collaborate with program and fiscal staff to finalize submissions, and ensure timely financial reporting. Beyond writing, you will conduct research to support proposal development, interact with senior management and the DARE team to align goals and objectives, and contribute to the semi-annual review of the agency website's programmatic content. This role requires synthesizing complex data into a compelling voice and story that drives support for our mission.
