This position serves as a vital bridge between faculty members, principal investigators, and the Office of Sponsored Programs. The role is dedicated to providing comprehensive pre- and post-award grant expertise, ensuring that research activities are planned, coordinated, and monitored in strict compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
As a liaison, you will facilitate seamless collaboration between the department and other campus units. Your work supports the management of large, complex research projects, including P20 and NIH training grants, by overseeing budget development, analyzing financial data, and monitoring expenses. You will work jointly with all principal investigators to facilitate research initiatives, advise on fiscal responsibilities and project timelines, and audit completed projects to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
