We are seeking a diligent and proactive Government Property Management Specialist (Sr) to support the United States Air Force (USAF) Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Infrastructure & Equipment Branch. This mid-level position serves as a vital bridge between BAE Systems and the customer, applying facility management and Information Technology support requirements to sustain one of the premier Program Office branches.
In this role, you will work closely with the Infrastructure Branch members to manage the government's IT environment, help desk operations, and technical troubleshooting. Your day-to-day will involve maintaining the Infrastructure facility, managing unit collaboration portals like SharePoint, and ensuring strict adherence to DoD and Air Force policies regarding cyber security and removable media. You will coordinate with host wing Civil Engineering on facility issues, maintain inventory of government-provided VoIP telephones, and prepare professional documentation for upper management reporting.
This is an opportunity to apply your technical leadership in a fast-paced environment where you will collaborate with government IT personnel, diagnose complex technical problems, and drive efficiency in facility and IT management. Strong technical aptitude. Ability to prepare professional documentation for reporting to upper management. Ability to engage and collaborate in team-oriented environments. Ability to execute projects to improve efficiency, drive out cost, manage change, and mitigate risks in dealing with Facility/IT management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Access, and SharePoint. Knowledge of and/or experience with the Minuteman III ICBM system. Current or recent (less than 2 years) DoD security clearance Secret or higher.
