About the Role
The City of Jefferson's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated Parks Maintenance Worker to support the Oak Hills Golf Course. This role is vital to ensuring the course remains a premier destination for golfers by maintaining its appearance, playability, safety, and overall condition.
You will work closely with full-time and seasonal staff to prepare the grounds for daily play, leagues, tournaments, and special events. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of hands-on turf care, equipment operation, and groundskeeping. From mowing greens and tees to managing irrigation systems and applying fertilizers, you will be the backbone of the course's daily operations. Additionally, you will maintain city landscaping, assist with drainage projects, and ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.
