The Mobile Technician II is a pivotal role designed for a professional who has mastered all applications of preventative maintenance. In this position, you will perform basic and advanced adjustments, repairs, and component replacements with limited supervision. Beyond routine maintenance, you will conduct diagnostic operations to identify vehicle system failures and suggest accurate repairs.
Your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of shop work and service calls. You will troubleshoot complex systems ranging from brakes and suspension to electrical, fuel, and exhaust components. The role requires versatility, as you may be asked to participate in an after-hour on-call rotation depending on location needs. Success in this role means maintaining high productivity, preventing comebacks, and ensuring every vehicle is returned to the road safely and efficiently.
