About the Role
The Golf Course Maintenance Technician is the guardian of the course's beauty and playability. This hands-on role ensures optimal conditions for members and guests through dedicated turf care, irrigation management, and landscaping. Working directly under the Director of Grounds, you will be instrumental in preserving the course's functionality while assisting with special projects and renovations.
Day in the Life
Your day begins with a focus on precision and care. You will operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, from mowers and aerators to blowers, ensuring every green, fairway, and bunker is perfectly groomed. Beyond routine mowing and edging, you will troubleshoot irrigation systems, apply turf treatments safely, and manage tree and shrub care. The role requires a keen eye for detail to monitor for turf disease or drainage issues and the physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
