About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team, playing a vital role in preserving the beauty and functionality of our City parks, streets, facilities, and infrastructure. This position is essential for ensuring safe, welcoming public spaces for our community.
You will be part of a Sports Field maintenance crew at the Texas Bank Sports Complex, working alongside a team of three or more. Your day-to-day involves operating and maintaining a wide array of specialized equipment, from rotary mowers and tractors to blowers and chain saws. You will be responsible for the comprehensive care of turfgrass, including mowing, aerification, pesticide and fertilizer applications, and infield clay maintenance. Beyond the sports fields, you will assist in general groundskeeping, light construction, facility repairs, and the installation of irrigation systems. The role requires adaptability, as duties may shift to include clearing debris from roadways, building maintenance, and responding to emergencies as needed.
