DaVita, Italian for "giving life," is dedicated to providing quality service to patients, partners, and teammates. Our mission is to be the Provider, Partner, and Employer of Choice. We strive to be a community first and a company second, aiming to make every teammate feel that DaVita is "a place where I belong." We are committed to embedding a sense of belonging into everything we do in our Village.
As a Global Nephrology Registered Nurse, you will give life in an outpatient dialysis center, making an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. You will build long-term, meaningful relationships with patients and their families in an intimate setting.
You will be a central part of a small interdisciplinary team, functioning like a family alongside technicians, dietitians, social workers, physicians, and the center manager. This role involves delivering specialized, complex care to patients often dealing with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills. You will work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment, overseeing a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to conduct observations, measure stats, and manage machine setups.
DaVita is a clinical leader, holding the highest percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS standards. We expect our nurses to commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives. Whether you choose to remain in a patient-facing caregiving role or grow into leadership, operations, or corporate functions, DaVita offers robust development experiences to guide your journey.
Training for this position may take place in a facility or training clinic with a class of new teammates, separate from your assigned home clinic. Please note that you must be flexible regarding your final home clinic placement, as it may be in a different location, and there is potential to float to various clinics during and after training. The role requires a flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with some holidays required.
