About the Role
The Global Director of Payroll serves as the Firm's subject matter expert, overseeing payroll operations across the United States and EMEA/APAC regions. This role is critical for aligning complex payroll processes with organizational needs, ensuring legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and establishing centralized governance. You will lead the global payroll function, managing a team of Senior Payroll Managers and Supervisors while acting as the primary liaison with external vendors and internal stakeholders including Human Resources, Legal, Benefits, and Finance.
In this position, you will drive process improvements and ensure the accuracy of all payroll calculations, from overtime and bonuses to international tax withholdings. The Director plays a pivotal role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and system integrations, ensuring data accuracy across HRIS and payroll platforms. This is a leadership opportunity to foster a culture of accountability and service while navigating the nuances of multi-jurisdictional compliance in a professional services environment.
