The Portfolio Products organization is chartered with exposing core platform value to new personas outside our traditional infrastructure champions. Our Portfolio Products Presales organization consists of approximately 90 specialists and solution architects across the globe, supporting the entire sales and pre-sales ecosystem to drive the adoption of emerging products focused on Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Management, Unified Storage, Database, and DaaS/EUC.
The Global Director, NDB Practice Lead plays a critical role in realizing Nutanix's hybrid multi-cloud vision. You will activate a go-to-market team to expose, target, engage, position, sell, and deliver the Nutanix platform in the public cloud. This role is designed for a passionate strategic thinker with deep technical vision who can showcase product value in new markets and with new personas where the core sales organization is not yet equipped to do so.
In this position, you will represent the Presales organization in R&D, bringing customer intelligence and insights directly to the product roadmap. You will lead a global team of regionally based specialists and solutions architects, managing a matrix organization that includes recruiting, mentoring, and training. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating complex deal structures, providing competitive knowledge, and serving as an escalation point for pre-sales issues to Product Management and Engineering. You will also partner with business unit leaders, Channel, Marketing, and field sales functions to drive a technical sales agenda and thought leadership.
Candidates for this senior leadership role are expected to demonstrate architect-level experience in multiple working or customer environments, or marquee tech provider experience, alongside a proven track record of managing presales or engineering functions. The interview process will assess strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
