The GIS Manager / Land Information Officer serves as the strategic leader for Ozaukee County's Geographic Information Systems and Land Information Program. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and strategic deployment of geospatial data across all County departments, municipalities, and external partners. As the County's designated Land Information Officer (LIO), you will oversee compliance with Wisconsin Land Information Program (WLIP) requirements, manage state reporting and grants, and set the vision for GIS development and data governance.
The role balances technical oversight with program leadership, ensuring that GIS resources are perfectly aligned with organizational needs, statutory mandates, and future growth. You will act as the primary liaison between the County, its departments, and the broader community, supporting critical operations such as NG-911, elections, and land records while fostering collaboration with regional and statewide initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Planning, or a closely related field. Experience working with land records, parcel data, or public sector GIS operations. GIS Professional (GISP) certification.
