About the Role
Advance your academic career at the University of New Mexico, home to the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center within 500 miles. This position seeks a Genitourinary Oncologist Faculty member to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with prostate, bladder, kidney, and other GU cancers. The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical and translational research within a nationally recognized academic setting, while teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students.
Faculty members will collaborate on investigator-initiated and cooperative group clinical trials, enrolling patients and working alongside full-time Medical Oncology Inpatient Providers. While the division covers inpatient care Monday through Friday, faculty are expected to cover weekend inpatient duties. The position includes outpatient APP support and takes place in a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility.
