About the Role

The General Operator is responsible for the smooth operation of plant equipment at the Hazleton Quarry. The ideal candidate is motivated, experienced, and committed to carrying out work safely. This role is essential to meeting production schedules and ensuring the efficient operation of crushers, screens, and other heavy machinery.

In this position, you will work in an outdoor industrial setting, regularly exposed to weather conditions, vibration, fumes, and loud noise levels. The role requires a high level of situational awareness to maintain safe walkways, inspect equipment guarding, and ensure screen media is in proper condition for maximum production. You will also collaborate with the team to solve production problems and suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment usage.
