About the Role
Meijer, a leading Midwest supercenter, is seeking a General Merchandise Manager to oversee daily retail operations within our general merchandise departments. This role is designed to drive sales, manage inventory and merchandising standards, and ensure exceptional customer service across categories including apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and toys.
As a leader, you will partner with store leadership to coordinate cross-merchandising and major sales or community events. Your day-to-day involves analyzing sales trends to adjust assortments and pricing, while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly sales floor. You will also play a key role in fostering a positive team culture by supervising, scheduling, and coaching team members to meet performance goals.
