We are seeking an experienced and skilled Store Manager to run our location effectively with a keen attention to detail. This role is central to our mission of enhancing guest experiences at every opportunity, ensuring that every customer interaction satisfies and exceeds expectations.
As the face of the store, you will maintain constant contact with both staff and customers. Your focus will be on fostering a culture where the team provides the highest quality service while you monitor the store's overall financial performance. You will be responsible for building community relationships and partnerships to drive sales and profit, while ensuring a positive mental attitude and commitment toward company objectives.
Your day begins by greeting staff and customers, providing them with what they need, and offering intelligent recommendations to build brand trust. You will review daily numbers, coaching and praising results to generate excitement and enthusiasm within the team.
You will manage all levels of staffing, from conducting effective interviews to hire top performers to overseeing new hire orientations and ensuring 100% compliance with all training and certification processes. A key part of your role involves mentoring Assistant General Managers (AGMs) and Assistant Managers (AMs) in the operation of the unit, preparing them for future advancement. You will also assist Area and Market Development Managers in executing marketing plans and provide clear development plans and performance reviews for management staff.
Beyond leadership, you will execute quarterly business plans using systems, training, and operation manuals. The role requires flexibility to perform above and beyond standard parameters, including physical duties such as walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. overhead.
Candidates must successfully complete the ZAX, Inc. General Manager training program, including the in-store training program and specific ZFI assessments (AM, GM, and Kitchen Demonstrative) with a score of 90% or above. All candidates are subject to annual background checks and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks.
