About the Role

As a General Manager, you will manage and assume responsibility for all functions of a Papa Johns restaurant. Your mission is to ensure high-quality products and exceptional customer service are delivered to drive restaurant profitability. This role requires you to be a self-sufficient leader who makes quality decisions and instills pride and accountability in your team members. You will oversee the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.

What You'll Do

In this position, you will build a system of quality with your team to ensure every delivered product meets Papa John's standards and accurately reflects the customer's order. You will professionally and promptly respond to customer concerns, soliciting feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty. You will actively recruit customer-focused team members, maintain adequate staffing levels, and conduct timely performance reviews. By coaching and developing your team, you will create an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.

You will also manage sales and profit goals against the budget. This involves building check averages through team member training on products and sales execution, as well as executing creative local restaurant marketing to seek additional sales. You will ensure food, labor, and other controllable costs stay within budget, utilizing the PROFIT System to resolve unfavorable trends. Additionally, you will manage inventory levels to meet sales demands, minimize loss, and ensure the restaurant is clean, fully equipped, and meets all safety and security standards.

Hiring Process

Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check. We are looking for individuals who are 18 years of age or older, have reliable transportation, and possess the ability to manage with no supervision. In certain markets, bilingual skills are a plus. The role is an exempt, salaried position requiring the ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and as emergencies arise.
