Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist with installation of watermain systems and underground utilities
- check_circlePerform trenching, shoring, pipe laying, backfilling, grading, and site cleanup
- check_circleOperate hand tools, compactors, saws, pumps, and other construction equipment safely
- check_circleWork alongside excavator operators and pipe crews during utility installation projects
- check_circleMaintain safe work zones and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- check_circleLoad and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- check_circleHelp maintain equipment and ensure job sites remain organized and clean
- check_circleIdentify and work around existing underground utilities
- check_circleAssist with locating, measuring, and grading utility lines
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school or GED level education preferred
- verified2+ years of experience in underground utility construction
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedMust be able to pass drug test
- verifiedAbility to read grade stakes, utility markings, and basic construction plans
- verifiedKnowledge of excavation and trench safety practices
- verifiedFamiliarity with water, sewer and storm utility systems
Nice to Have
High school or GED level education. Experience with watermain installation. Ability to read grade stakes, utility markings, and basic construction plans.
