Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Contractor Laborers to assist with commercial and residential construction projects. This role is vital for supporting various trades on job sites by performing general labor duties, maintaining site cleanliness, and assisting with construction tasks to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
About the Role
As a General Contractor Laborer, you will be the backbone of our construction teams. You will operate and care for construction equipment, assist skilled workers like carpenters and equipment operators, and manage the physical preparation of job sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, assembling temporary structures such as scaffolding, and handling earthwork tasks like filling or compacting soil. Reliability and a willingness to learn through on-the-job training are essential as you adapt to the dynamic environment of commercial and residential builds.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age, and hold a high school diploma. We require at least one year of construction experience as a general laborer, along with the physical ability to perform strenuous tasks in all weather conditions. Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable. All selected candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Compensation & Employment Type
Pay ranges from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour, determined by experience, skill level, and the specific type of construction work. This position may be offered as a Direct-Hire or Temp-to-Hire role; please note that no benefits are offered during the temporary period.
