The Gated Entry Installation & Service Technician is the frontline guardian of security for gated communities, commercial properties, and private facilities. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless operation of automated gate systems, where your expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting directly impacts safety and minimizes downtime for residents and businesses.
Our organization specializes in retrofitting complex systems and integrating new technologies into active environments. Because most installations and service calls occur while a business or community is fully operational, a heavy emphasis on professionalism, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service is essential. You will be the face of our company, collaborating closely with property managers and security personnel to customize access control solutions that meet specific site needs.
The day-to-day reality of this position is diverse and physically demanding. You will navigate a wide variety of working environments, from attic spaces and aerial runs to underground trenching and concrete work. The role requires a keen construction understanding to determine the best pathways for wiring and conduits, utilizing heavy equipment like horizontal boring machines, concrete saws, and trenching machines alongside standard hand tools. Whether you are programming cloud portals, managing computer networks, or setting poles, your goal is to ensure every access control system functions reliably, providing peace of mind to everyone who enters the facility.
