About the Role
Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist with Advanced Endoscopy training to join our growing Department of Gastroenterology. Whether you work directly with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference. This clinic-based position offers dedicated endoscopy days within a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab equipped with the latest EUS, impedance, pH, and manometry capabilities.
You will practice within an integrated model featuring a strong internal referral network and support from specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System. A team of Advanced Practice Professionals will assist with consults, follow-up appointments, and patient overflow, while 24/7 reliable hospitalists and a dedicated GI Hospitalist ensure comprehensive care. The role includes a 1:5 call rotation shared among the group, balancing clinic and hospital consults.
