Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing Department of Gastroenterology. Whether you work directly with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference. This clinic-based position offers a unique opportunity to practice within an integrated model featuring a strong internal referral network and support from specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System.
You will work in a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab equipped with the latest EUS, impedance, pH, and manometry capabilities. The role includes dedicated endoscopy days and a supportive team of Advanced Practice Professionals who assist with consults, follow-up appointments, and patient overflow. Physicians benefit from a 1:5 call rotation shared among the group, with 24/7 reliable hospitalists and a dedicated GI Hospitalist onsite.
