Intermountain Health seeks a Gastroenterologist to join its busy, well-supported team in Billings, Montana. This role offers clinical depth and long-term professional satisfaction within a thriving regional hub. You will enjoy a balanced schedule with light call and opportunities for academic engagement.
The incoming Gastroenterologist will join a respected not-for-profit system comprising 385 clinics and 33 hospitals across seven states. You will practice in an endoscopy suite with two fully staffed rooms and anesthesia support, performing a high volume of procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, and ERCP. The position includes a predictable 36-hour workweek with most clinic days ending by 3 PM, allowing you to see 13 patients and perform up to 16 procedures daily.
You will work alongside four experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Patient Service Representatives (PSRs), and an on-site practice manager. The role also offers opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and APPs. You will collaborate with over 60 primary care providers and regional specialists for referrals, supported by a light 1:4 call schedule with overnight support from Hospitalists and GI Hospitalists.
