As a Gas Turbine Stress and Life Engineer, you will be at the forefront of gas turbine technology. This role exists to ensure the structural integrity, durability, and reliability of critical components throughout their lifecycle. You will partner closely with design, materials, and performance engineers to optimize turbine components for demanding operational conditions.
In this position, you will navigate the full spectrum of stress analysis and life assessments for components such as turbine blades, nozzles, shrouds, disks, shafts, bearings, and combustors. Your day will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to validate predictions through physical testing, investigating field failures, and recommending design modifications to mitigate risks. You will contribute to the development of best practices and new tools, ensuring that our solutions meet rigorous industry standards and customer specifications.
Candidates must be fluent in English and possess US work authorization; the company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa. Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
