Aerodyne Industries Careers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team, where we support critical NASA and defense aerospace programs. In this position, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end development of mechanical systems for aerospace and defense applications. You will partner with systems, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design compatibility and mission success. Your work will span the entire product lifecycle, from requirements development and 3D modeling to structural and thermal analysis, material selection, and support for fabrication, integration, and test activities.
You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D CAD models, engineering documentation, and verification plans compliant with NASA, DoD, and relevant aerospace standards. A key part of your day will involve participating in design reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments, as well as resolving nonconformances and design issues during the integration and testing phases.
Candidates selected for this role must possess an active or obtainable U.S. security clearance. The selection process involves a thorough review of technical qualifications and experience in aerospace or defense projects.
