About the Role
We are seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to join our team in Detroit. This role is designed to lead functional safety activities throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable automotive solutions. You will serve as a critical bridge between feature owners, software engineers, design teams, and suppliers, driving compliance with industry safety standards.
In this position, you will not only develop essential safety work products but also foster a culture of safety by leading technical discussions and guiding cross-functional teams. Your work will directly impact the successful implementation of automotive functional safety processes, from initial hazard analysis to final validation and manufacturing readiness.
