If you have a passion for plants, this opportunity is for you! As a Merchandiser at ICS, you become the face of our company to our clients' customers, specifically supporting Home Depot stores in your local area. This role is dedicated to bringing the garden center to life through visual merchandising, the careful unloading and stocking of live goods, and fostering positive customer relations.
The position offers a dynamic day-to-day experience where you will advocate for watering standards to ensure the well-being of our live plants, maintain planogram compliance, and ensure all displays and carts are accurately merchandised with up-to-date signage. While a basic knowledge of gardening is helpful, a great attitude and eagerness to learn are what truly matter. You will work in a fast-paced environment, often without constant direct oversight, requiring initiative and the ability to maintain order while completing tasks efficiently.
We offer very flexible schedules, including weekend availability which is highly desired. The role provides the opportunity to take on additional hours during peak seasons, balanced by streamlined duties during non-peak times. Success in this role requires effective communication skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and the capacity to carry up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation and basic computer savvy for daily timekeeping on smartphones are essential requirements.
