The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in fulfilling this vision by overseeing a variety of operational tasks that keep the store running smoothly. This role is dynamic, often requiring the individual to step into the duties of the Freight Coordinator and Visual Merchandiser depending on business needs and store volume.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily store operations. Your day will involve managing promotions, ensuring signage is displayed correctly, and handling inventory reviews from daily pulls to year-end counts. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries, resolving questions with efficiency and courtesy.
Beyond operations, you will lead onboarding and selection activities, monitoring hiring dashboards and guiding new teammates through their first days. You will also manage the visual presentation of the store, developing weekly strategies to maintain high visual standards and drive business through impactful window displays. Whether handling freight, managing shipping labels, or resolving maintenance issues, your goal is to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work environment that reflects our commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleComplete inventory reviews including year-end inventory and report discrepancies

- check_circleDevelop and maintain knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software and exchange procedures
- check_circleCreate and develop a visual merchandising strategy on a weekly basis using visual tools
- check_circleCompare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipment accuracy
- check_circleCommunicate policy violations to management in a timely and confidential manner
- check_circleReceive freight boxes, store transfers, and maintain all shipment-related paperwork
- check_circleHandle all maintenance issues in the store including plumbing and electrical problems
- check_circleMonitor reservation applications including guest follow-up and product reservation
- check_circleCreate shipping labels, sort packages, and send in recalls and Return to Vendors weekly
- check_circleOrganize fixtures, shelving, and supplies to maintain a neat and clean work area
Requirements
