About the Role
As a Store Associate, you are the face of ALDI, dedicated to enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and a well-maintained store environment. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the store looks its best, handling everything from merchandising and stocking to cashiering and cleaning.
This is a full-time position with an average schedule of 30+ hours per week. You will start at $18.00 per hour, with structured wage increases available in subsequent years as you grow with the company.
Your Day-to-Day
Your day involves a dynamic mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will model customer service principles, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and assisted. A key part of your role is managing the point-of-sale system to process purchases accurately while adhering to cash policies and line management protocols to keep checkout lanes efficient.
Beyond the register, you will be responsible for the store's visual appeal. This includes stocking shelves and displays according to planograms, maintaining zone standards, and completing curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items for timely delivery. You will also support a safe working environment by identifying hazards, maintaining equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
