Full-Time Store Associate

About the Role

As a Store Associate, you are the face of ALDI, dedicated to enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and a well-maintained store environment. You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure the store looks its best, handling everything from merchandising and stocking to cashiering and cleaning.

Day in the Life

Your day involves keeping the store running smoothly and efficiently. You will model customer service principles, ensuring every interaction is prompt and courteous. A significant part of your role includes operating the point-of-sale system to process purchases accurately and managing checkout lanes to maintain efficiency. You will also be responsible for curbside pickup orders, retrieving items, verifying contents, and delivering them to customers' vehicles.

Beyond the sales floor, you will maintain high standards for zone and merchandising displays, ensuring products are stocked neatly according to planograms. You will also support operational goals by identifying hazards, maintaining equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks to company standards. This role requires physical activity, including lifting products up to 45 pounds, operating various equipment like floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, and working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be at least 18 years old. While a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail experience are preferred, the primary focus is on the ability to provide courteous service, operate store equipment, and follow instructions with attention to detail.
