As an employee-owned company, Schreiber is dedicated to supporting the well-being of our partners and the communities we serve. Our culture is built on the "Partners Helping Partners" initiative, where hundreds of employees organize fundraisers and support one another through life's challenges. We offer a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a 401(k) match, and a Lifestyle Spending Account for fitness and mental health.
The UDC FG/3PL Operator is a versatile role designed to keep our Finished Goods and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations running smoothly. You will be trained across multiple areas of the UDC, with a primary focus on off-site locations. This position involves picking, staging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining a clean, audit-ready distribution center environment.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include operating reach trucks, standup lifts, and sit-down lifts to move inventory. You will assess trailers for damage, perform temperature checks, and ensure all Food Safety and Quality process checks are completed accurately. Efficiency is key, with a target of 90% efficiency to be met within 90 days of training. Because this is a dedicated position often working at SFI or 3PL locations, you must be prepared to travel between sites as volume dictates or to cover vacations and call-ins.
