As a Driver, you are the bridge between our store and our professional customers. This role goes beyond simply delivering parts; you are a mobile ambassador for the brand, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers. By engaging with clients during deliveries, you provide valuable insights that help the store understand customer needs and drive sales growth.
Your day involves a dynamic mix of on-the-road logistics and in-store operations. You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns and cores, and distribute weekly or monthly sales flyers while promoting current offers and loyalty programs. When not on the road, you contribute to store operations by assisting with general stocking, maintaining store cleanliness, and engaging with walk-in customers to recommend appropriate parts or services.
Success in this position requires a blend of safe driving skills, sales aptitude, and a customer-first mindset. You will be expected to confidently engage customers, promote products, and identify opportunities to increase average transaction value through upselling and cross-selling. Whether you are navigating delivery routes, operating inventory systems, or interpreting safety manuals, your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and leadership is essential.
Candidates with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in automotive parts is preferred but not required, as we value a willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques. The role requires flexibility to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
