Cortica is dedicated to designing and delivering life-changing care for children with neurodevelopmental differences. We believe in offering more than just a job; we provide careers defined by purpose, growth, and unwavering support. Our mission is to redefine ABA therapy through compassion, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring every child receives the care they deserve.
As a Behavior Technician, you will be the frontline of our care, providing 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. This role exists to create meaningful progress for families by implementing positive behavior strategies and evidence-based practices developed in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Your day will involve documenting session data to track treatment goals, collaborating closely with families to build supportive environments, and adhering to crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting. You will work within a transdisciplinary framework, partnering with experts in speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pediatrics, and more to care for the whole child. We prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on clinical outcomes rather than just session counts.
At Cortica, we foster a supportive environment where your growth is championed by Lead BIs, ABA Assistant Supervisors, and ABA Supervisors. We offer a comprehensive 4-week, in-person, hands-on orientation and BCAT exam review to set you up for success from day one. Our culture is built on collaboration first, creating individualized care plans with families and clinicians working together.
We value your time and commitment by offering paid drive time, mileage reimbursement, and a cell phone stipend. Furthermore, we support your long-term development through continuing education reimbursement, ongoing professional development opportunities, and clear career advancement paths. Whether you aspire to advance to a BCBA role, ascend the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or serve in a corporate support role, Cortica provides the platform to achieve your goals.
To join our team, you must be willing to obtain your BCAT credential within 90 days. We provide the necessary support to help you achieve this. Once selected, you will complete our comprehensive orientation and training program before beginning your journey with us.
Cortica is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to help us serve our community effectively.
