We are a busy, well-established acupuncture practice deeply rooted in a traditional Chinese and Asian community. Our mission is to deliver effective Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments to a diverse population, prioritizing wellness and holistic care.
As our Clinic Receptionist and Assistant, you will be the first face our patients see and the voice behind the phone. This role is designed for someone passionate about wellness and serving others. You will manage the front desk operations, ensuring a calm and professional environment from the moment patients arrive to when they leave.
Your day will involve greeting and checking in patients, managing complex appointment schedules, and handling financial transactions including co-pays and payments. Beyond administrative duties, you will assist the care team with herb dispensary tasks, room turnover, and light cleaning. You will also serve as a key liaison for insurance eligibility checks, billing, and resolving issues with insurance companies, while coordinating credentialing for our providers.
We seek an outstanding candidate who is proactive, organized, and attentive to detail. You must possess a friendly and calming presence, with professional communication skills and a clean, professional appearance. Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus. While experience in acupuncture or alternative medicine is preferred, a strong desire to learn is equally important.
Interested candidates should submit their application highlighting their bilingual capabilities and relevant experience. We look forward to meeting the person who will help us continue our tradition of care.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
