Our space features state-of-the-art equipment for various disciplines, including a dedicated strongman area and MMA classes like Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu. About the Role
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will serve as the vital first point of contact for our members and guests, setting the tone for their experience at Iron Forge. This role goes beyond simple check-ins; you will be the face of our community, guiding new members through tours, explaining membership options, and ensuring everyone feels welcome. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of administrative duties, customer support, and facility monitoring. You will manage member sign-ups and waivers, handle inquiries, and process retail sales while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our gym floor. Whether you are de-escalating a frustrated member, restocking the supplement shelves, or assisting with community events, your organization and personable nature will be essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.

- check_circleClean and sanitize gym equipment, counters, and high-touch areas regularly
- check_circleAssist with event sign-ups, promotions, and support for gym-hosted competitions
- check_circleConduct facility tours and explain membership options to potential clients
- check_circleUpdate member databases and organize waivers, agreements, and administrative forms
- check_circleGreet members and guests while verifying memberships and waivers
- check_circleProcess new sign-ups, cancellations, and membership upgrades according to policy
- check_circleAnswer phone calls, respond to emails, and resolve member inquiries or complaints
- check_circleManage cash drawer transactions, including counting and reconciling at shift start and end
- check_circleMonitor facility access, check IDs, and follow emergency safety procedures
- check_circlePerform opening and closing duties including facility checks and equipment sanitization
- check_circleMonitor gym traffic, enforce facility rules, and ensure proper equipment usage
Requirements
