About the Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive. You will play a vital role in supporting overall practice operations by managing the front desk, verifying insurance details, and maintaining the organization of our waiting areas. This position requires a blend of exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, checking them in and out, and handling sensitive administrative tasks such as updating insurance information and collecting copayments. Your day will involve answering and routing calls, scheduling appointments to ensure continuity of care, and performing various clerical duties to keep the office running smoothly. As part of this role, you may be required to travel between our Walnut Creek and Castro Valley office locations as needed.
