About the Role
The Front Desk Agent serves as the face of the hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a friendly arrival and departure experience. This role exists to address all guest needs and requests in a timely, efficient, and hospitable manner. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests with a smile and using their names to make them feel properly welcomed.
Your day involves managing check-in and check-out efficiency, ensuring guests are contacted after arrival to confirm their room is satisfactory, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of room rates and promotions. Beyond the desk, you are an active participant in the hotel's cleanliness standards. You will pitch in to keep both front and back-of-house areas spotless, greeting guests with hospitality even while cleaning. You will also handle incoming mail, complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy, and support all groups and events at the hotel.
