We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, responsible for greeting them, checking them in, and managing their files. You will also handle phone inquiries, direct calls to the appropriate departments, and manage documentation via mail or fax. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Beyond front desk duties, you will verify insurance eligibility and authorizations for medications and procedures, prepare and set up IVs, and manage the scanning of documents into our electronic medical records system. You will also confirm appointments and obtain necessary referrals from patients' primary care doctors.

To succeed in this role, you must have at least one year of experience working in a medical office as a receptionist or front desk staff, with specific experience in verifying insurance eligibility and authorizations. Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite, is required.
