LFC Daycare is a bilingual (English & French) Early Learning Center for children aged 24 to 36 months. It operates under the umbrella of the LFC Extra Program of the Lycée Français de Chicago (LFC), a well-established pre-k-12 international school. The center is dedicated to creating a supportive, encouraging, and enriching environment where young children can thrive.
The Lycée Français de Chicago is seeking a French-speaking Child Caregiver to join its daycare program. Reporting to the LFC Daycare Director, you will be responsible for creating a safe, happy, and stimulating environment while caring for the basic needs of two-year-olds. This position begins in November 2024.
In this role, you will plan and supervise structured educational activities, mealtimes, and balanced routines that include physical activity, rest, and play. You will serve as a compassionate partner to families, maintaining professional relationships and communicating any developmental or health concerns. The ideal candidate brings a friendly demeanor, patience, and a genuine love for children, striving to provide firm but compassionate structure.
