Neighborhood House is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing social services for children, families, seniors, and individuals experiencing food and housing insecurity. For over 120 years, we have engaged in anti-poverty work, serving as a vital safety net to ensure our community has the support necessary to thrive.
Our Head Start program creates an environment where participants can learn, grow, and thrive. We emphasize parents as primary teachers and foster a cooperative environment connecting families, teachers, family advocates, home visitors, and staff. Our approach prioritizes connection to community resources and learning through child-led play. The program is designed to meet the unique needs of all eligible children, including those with special needs and disabilities, providing essential school readiness skills to strengthen our community's children and families for life.

You will lead various small group activities daily and step in to lead the classroom when the Head Teacher is on break.
