About the Role
This position serves as a vital link in the freight logistics chain, responsible for transporting cargo across the dock area to and from trailers. The role ensures that freight is loaded, secured, and documented accurately to maintain the integrity of the supply chain. You will operate in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment where coordination with service center personnel is essential.
Working Conditions
The role is performed in a dock environment with exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs, requiring flexibility and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, bending, twisting, and pushing or pulling freight throughout the shift.

Requirements

Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations. Experience with hostler/yard mule duties if required. Previous dock/warehouse experience.
