About the Role
FedEx Freight is seeking a dedicated Dock Worker to transport freight across the dock area, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of trailers. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. You will work independently or as part of a team to handle freight using motorized and manual equipment, verify documentation, and secure cargo safely.
The position operates on a night shift from 00:30 to 09:00. The dock environment exposes employees to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. Hours may vary based on operational needs, requiring flexibility and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting dock plates and opening trailer doors throughout the shift.

Requirements

Nice to Have
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations. Experience with hostler/yard mule duties if required. Previous dock/warehouse experience.
