This position serves as a critical link in our healthcare ecosystem, responsible for completing FMLA and Disability forms with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and high-quality customer service. You will work within a team that values Servant Leadership, Family, Compassion, Accountability, and Respect, ensuring that every interaction reflects our core culture of innovation, integrity, and adaptability.
In this role, you will process medical record requests while strictly adhering to HIPAA and HITECH compliance laws. You will communicate with patients and physician coordinators regarding disability and FMLA paperwork, maintaining an upbeat, patient-centered attitude. Your day-to-day involves validating and processing requests for Protected Health Information (PHI), verifying patient information, and ensuring that disability forms are completed within the required 5-7 day turnaround after payment. You will also monitor EMR accounts to ensure all requests are processed within required timeframes and maintain professional relationships with all account clients.
